Three Netflix documentaries that changed my life

Quarantine days are full of worries, anxiety, and stress. You could either spend your time wisely learning or focusing on negative aspects of life which will contribute to laziness.


Fortunately, there are many things you could do to acquire new skills and knowledge that will boost your energy and contribute to wellness. Learning about your health is one of the most important things you could, what a better way to learn than watching a documentary on Netflix.


About a year ago my health journey started I was browsing through Netflix and came across a documentary called Cowspiracy. It is a documentary about the impact of the meat industry on our planet. It uncovers the cruel and inhumane part of eating animals, the most shocking part about it was that well all know that animals die for our food, but we never get to sit and watch how they suffer, empathy is the main value. Most people will be shocked after watching the impact meat production has on our planet and how it could kill us all. After everything I learned, I was curious about the vegan topic so I watched another documentary called What The Health. It talked about how animal products affect our health and our planet, it also uncovers and reveals the truth behind health associations and how are they linked to industries. Industries will pay millions of dollars for associations to keep recommending animal products which are unhealthy and in some cases dangerous. After watching both documentaries I felt awful and started making daily changes, for a better life. Now I am more conscious about my health and my carbon footprint than ever before. During quarantine I wanted to be productive and learn more, the more I am informed the more I can take care of myself. I had heard about a documentary called The Game Changers while browsing through Netflix, I was so happy it was now on Netflix so I decided to watch It. The Game Changers is a documentary about how a vegan diet benefits professional athletes. It demonstrates the capacity and ability that vegan and vegetarian athletes have compared them to other athletes who incorporate animal products in their diet. Many experiments are made throughout the film, the results are shocking and will convince you to try a vegan or vegetarian diet. Watching these documentaries will convince you to try and make daily changes, for a better life.
