We are humans we make mistakes, sometimes we are just ignorant and don't really know the consequences of our choices. This article will help you be more sustainable and make more eco-friendly choices because we don't need a few people trying to go zero waste, we need billions trying to be sustainable.

Be conscious of what you buy

• Choose glass.

When you go to the store, instead of buying food in plastic containers, choose glass instead. Glass can be reused and easily recycled.

• Shop in bulk.

Buying in bulk will be cheaper than going to a regular supermarket. buying in bulk stores more sustainable than buying at a supermarket because I'd book stores you can take your own glass jars or get new ones there if you don't have any glass jars or are willing to guide new one's book stores will provide paper bags for you. Paper bags will biodegrade in 60 days.

Switch to eco-friendly alternatives

• Instead of buying a plastic toothbrush buy a bamboo toothbrush.

• Change plastic bottle shampoo to solid shampoo and conditioner, same for deodorant.

• Use a water bottle instead of buying millions of water bottles.

• Don't waste any more Ziploc bags and get a reusable silicone bag.

• Get a metal straw and stop killing sea turtles.

Recycle

The easiest things you could do is separate your trash, then clean, flatten, and recycle.

In Mexico City, most people do not recycle their products, but I have found incredible ways to do so.

Ecolana is a website where you can search for recycling centers near you and in some places, you actually get paid for taking your "trash" to recycling places.

Bike recycling is an incredible project where they go in a bicycle to your house and pick up PET, Tetra pack, and aluminum cans and take them to a recycling center.
